16 couples tie the knot at Holy Rosary Parish Church

ANGELES CITY – The Holy Rosary Parish Pastoral Council conducted their 2nd mass wedding project on October 12 at the Holy Rosary Parish Church for indigent couples who cannot afford to have their own wedding.

The council selected the 16 couples, who underwent screening to make sure they are residents of Angeles City and that they are Catholics.

Hina Roman, president and the coordinator of the council, and Voltaire Zalamea, owner of Events and Concepts, made the event possible for the couples.

According to Zalamea, the difference of this event from the usual mass wedding is that they did what they can to make sure the couples get what they want for their dream wedding.

“Being part of the wedding industry, I asked the help of all the wedding suppliers to extend their services, hindi naman ako nahirapan, isang tawag isang text lang everyone was so generous to extend their services and resources,” he stated.

Make-up artists, designers, photographers, videographers, florists, caterers, singers and organizers volunteered in making this event memorable for these couples. – Andrea Gail E. Bognot/ AUF Intern
