20 Mabalacat PWDs finish sewing training course

Some 20 persons with disability are now certified skilled sewers after completing the 17-day training on High Speed Sewing initiated by the Persons with Disability Affairs Office headed by Michael Miranda

This is in coordination with the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) and Public Employment and Services Office .


Miranda said the skills training aims to uplift the living of PWDs by enhancing their skills in sewing.

City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo said the council have allocate funds for the proposed livelihood training center in Mabalacat City.

” We are providing you the trainings but what’s next after these? That is why we are working on the construction of the training center where all of our skilled Mabalaqueños will work to generate income for their families,” Garbo highlighted.

Present in the culminating activity are Vice Mayor Christian Halili, Councilors Jeng Yumul, Rox Peña, Bok Tiglao and Atty. Geld Aquino, and CSWDO Head Josephine Tanglao.

First district of Pampanga Representative Carmelo ‘Jon’ Lazatin’s Media Affairs Officer Arthur Cabigting served as the guest of honor for today’s program.

Cabigting reierated the continuous support of Lazatin for the differently abled residents of Mabalacat city.
