CLARK FREEPORT— Some 2,700 students in two public schools in Mabalacat City have benefited from Clark Development Corporation’s (CDC) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts recently.

In a report submitted to CDC President-CEO Noel F. Manankil by Assistant Vice President for External Affairs Division (EAD) Rommel C. Narciso, the state-run firm turned over construction materials and an air-conditioning unit to Mabiga and Pineda-Gutierrez elementary schools, respectively, both in Mabalacat City.

CDC recently received a letter of request for sponsorship on the rehabilitation of Grade III classroom in Mabiga Elementary School signed by Reynaldo C. Galang, its principal.

Following the evaluation of CDC’s Infrastructure Planning Division and Community Relations and Social Services to the said public school, the state-run firm recently turned over 45 pieces galvanized iron sheets, 7 pieces of ½ plywood, 40 pieces ¼ plywood and 15 2x3x10 ft. wood for the rehabilitation of the said classroom.

Likewise, CDC recently received a letter of request from Pineda Gutierrez Elementary School in Mabalacat City for sponsorship of one (1) air-conditioning unit for the school’s computer laboratory room.

After CDC’s assessment, it was learned that a computer laboratory with air-conditioning unit is a pre-requisite to the delivery of additional computer units by the Department of Education.

EAD staff handed the air conditioning unit to Janeth Diangson, Mabiga elementary school coordinator.

CDC’s CSR Program under Clark Cares initiatives supports various programs on education, livelihood and medical sponsorships to the community within the contiguous areas in this Freeport.
