Fernandina wins Storybook writing contests

Rina Limbitco, a kindergarten teacher at Bulaon Elementary School, was hailed as winner in two storybook writing competitions.

Limbitco was awarded as first place in the Regional Competition on Storybook Writing for Kindergarten on December 15 and fourth place in the 2017 National Storybook writing competition for Kindergarten to Grade 3 Teachers on January this year.

Her winning entry entitled “Si Dinong Bulagsak,” is a story that teaches the proper handling of educational materials to school children at their young age.

Meanwhile, also present during the awarding at the City Hall were Mayor Ed Santiago, Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin, Councilors Nelson Lingat and Harvey Quiwa, and Bulaon Elementary School Principal Ronald Maglalang.
