Figaro opens branch at SM City Clark

Figaro, the first coffee shop to offer flavored beans, recently opened its newest branch at SM City Clark in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Their newest branch is located at the mall’s second floor, in front of the SM Bowling and Leisure Center.

Figaro was created by a group of coffee lovers in 1993. The group dreamed of a café where they could lounge and entertain friends and business associates while having high-quality coffee and delicious pastries.

The name Figaro is a song popularized by the European opera, “Barber of Seville.”

Figaro’s first outlet opened at the Makati Mall, Ayala Center managed by the partners and two other employees.

“Figaro is different from the other competitors because of the excellent service and excellently brewed specialty coffee and everything that goes perfect well with it,” Figaro owners said in a statement.

To date, Figaro has a more than 70 outlets in the Philippines and five international outlets in China, Saudi Arabia, Papua New Guinea, Guam and Qatar. They offer four types of coffee including robusta, excellsa, liberica and arabica.

Figaro’s vision is to be remembered as a committed advocate of corporate social responsibility by championing the cause of coffee to help farmers live better life.

“We also want to be the preferred brand specialty coffee of the international business traveler with our product and unique style of service leaving a lasting impression among our customers,” Figaro owners said.
