Mabalaqueña bags awards in Singapore swimming tilt

Mabalacat City — A 14-year old pioneering and multi-awarded swimmer of the Mabalacat City Flying Barracuda Swimming Team (MCFBST) has literally brought the bacon home.

Geoel Micole Agcaracar has several awards in the recent invitational swimming championship held in Singapore Island Country Club on August 12 to 13.

The pride of Mabalacat City, Agcaracar bagged two silver medals for the 4 x 50 medley and freestyle relay. She also garnered the fourth and fifth place on the 4 x 50 breaststroke and butterfly and 100 mm butterfly and freestyle event.

At her young age, she was awarded as the ‘Most Outstanding Swimmer’ by the Philippine Swimming League.

MCFBST aimed to provide training for aspiring swimmers in Mabalacat City and is supervised by Head Coach Larry Dueñas and Assistant Coach Cezar Ryan Castro.

  1. Saying she “literally brought home the bacon” means that she, in fact, returned from Singapore with actual bacon, which I doubt is the case.
