Pamintuan to push for CL development

Angeles City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan said he will push for the holistic development of the Central Luzon region.

This, after Pamintuan was appointed as chairman of the Regional Development Council for Central Luzon by President Rodrigo Duterte.

“My appointment as chairman of the Regional Development Council by President Rodrigo Duterte is another laurel for the Angeleños and Kapampangans,” according to Pamintuan. He said his “aim now is to make all mayors ‘have a say’ in coordination with their respective governors in Central Luzon.”

Pamintuan, who is currently in the United States of Amercia for the holidays, received the letter-appointment dated December 12, 2016 through the regional office of the National Economic Development Authority in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

“I will serve the region during my last term as Mayor of Angeles in coordination with all 17 other RDC chairpersons in the country and their governors and mayors all in the same tempo as the national agencies of government thru their regional representatives will direct the path of economic growth and national goals,” Pamintuan said.

Pamintuan is expected to return in the country on January 5, 2017 and will assume the RDC Chairmanship immediately.
