Poultry growers distribute computer sets to Bataan public schools

BALANGA CITY – The Bataan Poultry Growers Association (BPGA Inc.) on Thursday and Friday distributed computer sets to five public schools in the province of Bataan.

Eric Hermoso, the group’s president, led the distribution of computer sets complete with tables, chairs and printers to Bani Elementary School in Barangay Cataning and E. Bernabe Elementary School here; Liyang Elementary School in Pilar; San Benito Elementary School in Dinalupihan and Sumalo Elementary School in Hermosa.

Hermoso was joined by his colleagues in the association namely Recto Samaniego, vice president; Jojie Aguas, secretary; Joey Gallardo, treasurer; Gem Maniago, Moding Salandanan, Arnel Domingo, Andy Jimenez, Jun Del Rosario – members of the board of trustees; and members Jing Santos and Roland Guzon.

The distribution was witnessed by students with their respective school principals Jennifer Vicedo, Dodgie Espanola Angelito Licup along with teachers, local and barangay officials.

“This is part of our corporate social responsibility and our simple way of sharing our blessings to Bataenyos,” Hermoso told 1Bataan.com.

Hermoso’s group, who has almost 60 members, supplies 11% of the country’s poultry products. Last year, BPGA Inc. registered a P1.5 billion capitalization which reportedly produced some 40.6 million of broiler meat from 45 highly-sophisticated farms operating in the province. – MHIKE R. CIGARAL
