SM City Clark launches ‘Art for Everyone’ project

SM City Clark recently launched an art project that showcases the works of students from different schools in Central Luzon.

“Art for Everyone,” a five-day student art fair features the works of students from Baliuag State University, Gentry International School, Global Arts Pampanga, Guhit Pinas, Noblesse International School and Westfield International School. The exhibit will run from August 23 to 27 at the SM City Clark’s Event Centre 3.

“They say that arts normally requires a special appreciation of creativity and talent. We at SM enables young artists to gain foothold in the art scene,” Ryan Pamintuan, assistant mall manager at SMCK, said.

Present during the opening of the exhibit were Kapampangan artist and SMCK curator Norman Tiotuico; Department of Tourism-Central Luzon planning officer Yvonne Timbol; Noblesse IS headmaster Dwayne Lehman; Gentry IS assistant vice president Reynan Intal; Westfields IS master art teacher Carla De Jesus; Global Art Pampanga master teacher for arts and crafts Maan Maliwat and representatives from the Guhit Art Pampanga.

Student works on exhibit are for sale. Proceeds will go to respective art groups.

Aside from SMCK, other SM Supermalls including SM Aura Premier, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM City Bacolod, SM City Baguio, SM City Dasmarinas, SM City Cebu and SM Lanang Premier simultaneously opened the same exhibit on August 23.
