SM Supermalls unveil Disney-themed Christmas centerpieces

SM Supermalls in Pampanga officially began the Christmas season by unveiling their iconic holiday centerpieces.

This year, SM Supermalls chose a Disney-themed Christmas which features well-loved characters like Mickey Mouse and Olaf from the
2013 movie “Frozen.”

SM San Fernando Downtown was the first to unveil its Disney princesses-themed centerpiece on November 11.

SM City Pampanga (SMPP), the longest shopping mall in Central Luzon, unveiled its “Mickey’s Stories for Christmas” at The Global Fashion
Wing on November 12.

“This year, we are delighted to be launching our We Love Disney Christmas campaign where you will find Disney holiday-inspired themes, from Tsum Tsum and Mickey Mouse and Friends, to Disney princess and Frozen, as well as Sophia, and Cars, across 61 SM malls throughout the country,” SM Regional Operations manager Engineer Junias Eusebio said.

The unveiling was attended by SMPP mall manager Aaron Montenegro, Mexico Mayor Teddy Tumang, Pampanga Board Member Rosve Henson, City of
San Fernando Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin, Department of Foreign Affairs regional chief Edmundo Mangubat, Department of Trade and Industry
officer-in-charge Elenita Ordoño, City of San Fernando councilor BJ Lagman and City of San Fernando tourism officer Ching Pangilinan and
other SMPP officials.

The Christmas centerpiece unveiling also featured world-class performances from the Philippine Ballet Theater and 5th Gen (winner of the 19th Annual World Championship of Performing Arts).

After the unveiling ceremonies, about 30 kids from Duyan ni Maria and Autism Society of the Philippines – Pampanga Chapter received SM Bears of Joy, a gift-giving project of SM Supermalls.

SM City Clark also unveiled its “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” Christmas centerpiece on Sunday.

The unveiling at SMCK featured a winter-wonderland set-up with song and dance performances from the Angeles University Foundation’s
Concert Chorus. The group sang popular “Frozen” theme songs including “In Summer (Olaf’s song),” “Do you want to build a snowman?” and “Love is an open door.”

SMCK unveiling ceremonies were led by mall manager Andrea Madlangbayan, assistant mall manager Ryan Pamintuan, Mabalacat City
Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, Mabalacat City Vice Mayor Christian Halili, Angeles City Vice Mayor Bryan Matthew Nepomuceno, Angeles City
councilor Carmelo Lazatin Jr., and other SMCK officials.
