Some 100 trainees including women and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) have finished a short course on the Assembly of Solar Nightlights and Post Lamps at the TESDA.
The training which was coordinated by the PESO Mabalacat City had been conducted at the Dionisio S. Angeles School of Technology. The trainees have graduated on October 3, 2016, Monday at Jade Hall, Xevera, Tabun.
In attendance were City Vice Mayor Christian Halili, Sangguniang Panlungsod members Amauri “Bok” Tiglao, Dan Bayani Rogelio “Jeng” Yumul and Atty. Gerald Guttrie Aquino, instructors from DSAIT, PESO staff and its coordinators Benjie R. Pangan, Rowena G. Venzon and representatives of NHA. Vice Mayor Halili suggested that the project be replicated in the 27 barangays where the graduates will be tapped to train students.
