CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — About 1,000 Aeta families from the mountainous barangay of Camias in Porac benefitted Friday from the Rektang Bayanihan relief drive of Police Regional Office 3.

Police Regional Director PBGen. Rhodel Sermonia led the distribution of rice and food packs. He was joined by Filipino Indian Commerce and Welfare Society Inc. Head James Kumar, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Spokesperson Celine Pialago and 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company Commander PLtCol. Felipe Maraggun.

“Our Rektang Bayanihan aims to reach all needy families even those from far- flung areas and no matter how distant, we will not hesitate to go beyond our means to deliver basic services and relief goods to the poorest of the poor who are affected by this COVID-19 pandemic,” Sermonia said.

“As public servants it is our social responsibility to look out for our brothers and sisters who are most in need,” he added.
