The 10th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC), an annual tradition of multi-national pyro display at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, is finally happening here at SM City Clark in Pampanga this February 23 to March 30.

“For the past 9 years, the pyrotechnics have always complied with the international standards for environment safety, at par with countries like Canada, Australia, Hongkong and famous theme parks around the world.
In full support of the ongoing Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program of the DENR, SM Supermalls will move the 10th PIPC from SM Mall of Asia to SM City Clark in Angeles City, Pampanga,” PIPC announced on their official Facebook page.
The show initially scheduled on February 16 of this year was cancelled in compliance with Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ ongoing rehabilitation of Manila Bay, a few meters from Mall of Asia. The Manila Bay clean-up, rehabilitation, and preservation program themed ‘Manila Bayanihan Para sa Kalikasan’ kicked-off last January 27 after the directives of President Rodrigo Duterte to restore the bay’s former state.
This sudden change in schedule and venue led more excited PIPC fans to witness another year of bigger and wider pyromusical event, happening first here at SM City Clark.
“We seek the public’s support and understanding as we strive to still provide the same enjoyment as we have over the years,” PIPC management added.
