CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – A total of 1,727 scholars from various towns across the province received educational assistance through the scholarship program of the Provincial Government of Pampanga.
Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda personally led the distribution of aid to students during a ceremony held at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center on Friday, February 28, 2025.

Each beneficiary received P4,000 through the Educational Financial Assistance Program (EFAP), which aims to support Kapampangan students in pursuing higher education.
One of the beneficiaries, 22-year-old working student Jonel Dizon, expressed his deep gratitude for the program. He credits Gov. Delta’s scholarship assistance for helping him stay on track toward achieving his dream of becoming an accountant.

Records from the Provincial Library show that the EFAP program benefits between 13,000 and 14,000 students across the province twice a year. Each beneficiary receives P4,000 per semester, helping to ease the financial burden on Kapampangan youth striving for academic success.

In addition to this, 81 scholars who successfully passed their board exams also received incentives of up to P15,000 from the provincial government.
