1st adoption event for dogs, cats set on March 29

ANGELES CITY – The Angeles City Veterinary Office, in partnership with IWCT Philippines Inc. will hold the first-ever mass adoption event for dogs and cats on March 29, 2019 at the Angeles City Hall.

The main highlight of the event is the showcasing of the previously adopted animals to show what changes they had in their lives.

The adoption is free, without any requirements. Any medication such as deworming, anti-rabies vaccinations and medicines are also free of charge. Spaying and castration are free of charge on the day of the mass adoption event.

According to the head of the Angeles City Veterninary Office, Dr. Mario Samson Jr., this is the first ever mass adoption event held by a local government unit in the Philippines. The partnership began last January, he said.

There are still many dogs and puppies in the shelter, waiting and begging to be adopted.

Dr. Samson said, “Adopt, do not shop.” Article by: Michael-John G. Pimentel/ AUF Intern
