Despite the heavy downpour of rain brought by typhoon Ambo, combined units of Bataan Police were able to capture two suspected drug pushers in a buy bust operation in Barangay Culis, Hermosa, Bataan, Friday night.
In a report submitted to Police Col. Jesus Rebua, OIC provincial director of Bataan Police Provincial Office, Police Major Jeffrey Onde, Hermosa chief of police, identified the suspects as Armando Muli, 37, a resident of Pita, Dinalupihan; and Rodelio Layug, 45, residing in Luacan, Dinalupihan, Bataan.
The buy bust operation were conducted by the operatives of Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit led by Police Capt. Phoe Pangan, Hermosa PNP led by Major Onde, PIB Bataan, 1st and 2nd PMFC.
The operation resulted to the arrest of the suspects after Layug handed over one sachet of suspected crystal meth or shabu to the police poseur buyer which came from Muli in exchange of P500 marked money, and the confiscation of another 1 medium size plastic sachet containing suspected shabu approximately worth P12,000 on the possession and control of Muli.
Suspects are now in the custody of Hermosa MPS in preparation for filing of appropriate charges against them.
