CAMP OLIVAS – Two most wanted persons on Wednesday were arrested in separate manhunt operations in Nueva Ecija and Pampanga.
Nueva Ecija Provincial Police Director Col. Rhoderick Campo said Jose Garcia, a wanted person in Gapan, Nueva Ecija, 77, of P. Cruz, Bgy. Mangino, Gapan City, was arrested by his men based on a warrant for rape with no bail recommended.
Campo said Garcia went into hiding for over 15 years before he was arrested.
Meanwhile, Pampanga Provincial Police Director Col. Arnold Thomas Ibay said members of the Sto. Tomas police conducted a manhunt operation on Tizon St., Bgy. Poblacion, Sto. Tomas, Pampanga resulting in the arrest of tattoo artist, Joemarie Nucum, 27, also for rape.
“The entire Central Luzon Police Force together with other police units continues its intensified campaign to put lawless elements and wanted persons behind bars in line with the Internal Cleansing Policy of PNP Chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar,” said Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon.
