20 micro entrepreneurs in Tarlac undergo mentoring program

TARLAC CITY — A total of 20 micro entrepreneurs in Tarlac currently undergo capability building under the Kapatid Mentor Micro Enterprises (KMME) program of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

“They are the third batch from the province to have this two-month training focused on Entrepreneurship Mindset and Values Formation, Marketing, Financial Management, Product Development and Innovation, Business Law, Taxation, Human Resources, and Organizational Management,” DTI Regional Director Judith Angeles said.

“This training is part of the government’s program that intends to scale up the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector by providing them a holistic set of services that will enable them to grow and participate not only in the local but also in the global market,” Angeles emphasized.

There are 12 modules in the KMME program, which aims to level up the knowledge, mindset and skills of the MSMEs and improve their respective businesses.

KMME is being implemented by DTI in partnership with Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship, which is under the leadership of Presidential Adviser Joey Concepcion.
