2,000 Bamban HS Students attend DOLE Career Guidance Coaching Seminar

TARLAC CITY — About 2,000 high school students in Bamban town attended the Career Guidance Coaching Seminar of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

The attendees, who are in Grades 10 and 12, are from San Roque National High School and Dapdap High School.

“Following the implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum, DOLE continues to provide the country’s latest trends and updates on Labor Market Information through its Career Guidance Coaching Seminars to enable our students choose the right Applied Track Subjects to make them work-ready after high school and for those who will continue pursuing a college degree,” DOLE Regional Director Zenaida Angara-Campita said.

Topics discussed included DOLE’s Project Jobsfit 2017-2022 Summary Report which highlights the region’s Key Employment Generators, Industry Developments, and Emerging Industries.

“There were also discussions from the Municipal Public Employment Service Office on their programs including the Special Program for the Employment of Students,” Angara-Campita added.
