
City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in partnership with the Provincial Government of Pampanga, provided financial assistance to 2,020 residents of the City of San Fernando under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program.
Vice Governor Lilia ‘Nanay’ Pineda led the distribution alongside 3rd District Board Member Ananias Canlas Jr. and Board Member Lucky Labung held at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center on Wednesday, March 19.

The beneficiaries included members of vulnerable sectors, such as tricycle drivers (TODA), horse-drawn carriage drivers (kutsero), and lantern makers, who have been experiencing economic difficulties.

This initiative highlights the government’s commitment to uplifting marginalized communities, ensuring that no Kapampangan is left behind in the province’s development and recovery efforts.

Each recipient received ₱3,000 in financial assistance from the DSWD, along with food packs provided by the Provincial Government.
The AICS program is part of the government’s broader initiative to assist individuals and families in distress, providing them with timely support and essential resources to help alleviate financial hardships.
