The Global Youth Summit (GYS), held annually by SM Cares and Global Peace Foundation (GPF) is set to return this year in its biggest iteration yet, as it will be hosted in 17 different locations across the country including SM City Olongapo Central on August 1, 2024.
The GYS is an annual event that provides the youth with an avenue where they can share their ideas and work together to create long-term and sustainable solutions to the most pressing problems and challenges affecting them today.
GYS will be inviting experts and key opinion leaders from the private and public sectors and the academe to share their knowledge to inspire the youth into action. The GYS is one of SM Cares’ numerous Programs on Children and Youth, supporting all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
Others include The Book Nook, a free library and community hub where parents and children can bond over books, workshops and activities; and supporting UNICEF’s Programs for Education of Children. You can register for #GYS2024 using SM Malls Online.
