BALANGA CITY, Bataan — About 22 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bataan will join the 21stLikha ng Central Luzon Trade Fair slated from October 2-6 at SM Megamall.
In a radio interview, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bataan Business Development Division Chief Nora Reclosado revealed that 16 MSMEs will showcase food products while the remaining six will present quality non-food crafts.
“There will be more or less 150 participating MSMEs in this year’s event from the seven provinces in the region to promote their own set of local products,” Reclusado said.
Products made in Bataan to be featured during the weeklong event include processed fish, meat, cashew nuts, chips, sweets, bags, souvenir items, home decors, and other crafts.
Reclosado stressed that the annual trade fair will help local entrepreneurs to upscale their business and expose their products to potential suppliers from institutional buyers.
“We are inviting the public to visit the trade fair and give our local business owners the chance to promote their products,” she furthered.
Aside from the trade fair, DTI has been enabling the business sector through programs such as Kapatid Mentor Me and Small and Medium Enterprise Roving Academy.
