Three big-time drug pushers were arrested during a buy-bust operation inside a fastfood chain in Pasay City that also resulted in the seizure of P3,400,000.00 worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, on September 9, 2019.
PDEA Director General Aaron N. Aquino said the illegal drug was seized from suspects identified as Asraf Lomangcolob y Sarikaya, Raimona Macasappal y Mala and Basit Batua y Macaager, who were arrested at around 11:45 AM by joint elements of PDEA Regional Office IV-A (PDEA RO IV-A) under the supervision of Director Adrian G. Alvariňo, and PDEA BARMM in a fastfood chain inside a mall in Barangay 76 Zone 10, Pasay City.
Confiscated from the suspects were suspected shabu, weighing more or less 500 grams, with an estimated value of Php3,400,000.00.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), in relation to Section 26 (Conspiracy to Sell Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
