The Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) arrested three individuals while having a pot session on Monday in Barangay Cutcut.
PCapt. Agnes B. Nolasco identified the three as Sonny James Luna, 19 years old, jobless, resident of Rizal St. Purok 1 highway Barangay Sapangbato; Rosbie Mamucud, 29 years old, tricycle driver, resident of 111 San Roque St. Barangay Cutcut; and Allen Inay, 19 years old, single, student and resident of Purok 1 Barangay Anunas.
Nolasco said the three were arrested at around 1:30am on Monday along Kundiman St. Bagong Bayan, Barangay Cutcut, Angeles City.
Nolasco said the police received a call from an informant there was an ongoing pot session in Barangay Cutcut.
Responding lawmen caught the three suspects in the act of sniffing from a small aluminum foil with shabu. Also confiscated from the suspects were: one small sized heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu; two pieces used stripped aluminum foil containing shabu residue; two pieces disposable lighter without head cover, color red and yellow; and one stainless scissor.
The suspects were brought to Police Station 5 pending the filing of charges for violating RA 9165 at the Angeles City Prosecutor’s Office.
On the same day, ACPO ‘Top 4 Sibat Target’ was also arrested in Barangay Malabanias. He was identified as Jerome Yambao, 31 years old and resident of 1427 Melba st., Barangay Balibago, Angeles City.
Confiscated from Yambao is one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu and the P500 bill marked money.
Meanhile, Nolasco said the joint elements of the Crime Investigation and Detection Group-Angeles and ACPO have also arrested a certain Joseph Sanchez, 41 years old of 220-A Purok 6, Sitio Pader, Zone 4, Barangay Pulung Maragul on Sunday for carnapping.
The CIDG-CFU Angeles, City Intelligence Branch, ACPO, PIT PAMPANGA RIU, PHPT PAMPANGA and Police Station 3, implemented the warrant of arrest against Yambao issued by Hon. Rodrigo I Del Rosario, of RTC3 Branch 56.
The case was docketed as criminal case No. R-ANG-1900174-CR (Carnapping). No bail was recommended.
Another resident of Barangay Amsic, a certain Renato Dizon was also arrested on Sunday by the Patrulya ng Bayan volunteers for violating the Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ). When subjected to body search, Dizon yielded one heat-sealed transparent plastic with marijuana leaves.
Dizon was brought to Police Station 4 pending the filing of charges against him at the Angeles City Prosecutor’s Office for violating RA 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act; and RA 11332 for refusing to heed self-quarantine order of the national government.
