3 SM malls in the City receive Safety Seal

City of San Fernando – Three SM malls in this city recently granted the safety seal certification collectively making it the first retail establishment to receive the seal by the local government of the City of San Fernando for compliance on safety and health protocols against Covid-19.

The Safety Seal certification is granted to buildings and establishments that are compliant with the Minimum Public Health Standards (MPHS) and use of accredited contact tracing app such as Trace Together QR code. The COVID-19 Inter-Agency Task Force’s safety program includes representatives from the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Tourism, Department of Health, Department of Trade and Industry, and Department of Labor and Employment.

“Having been granted the recognition of Safety Seal will help bring back consumer confidence in our malls. Fully complying to MPHS with strict implementation both to the malls and the tenants, we are bringing back the patrons for a safe malling experience in the new normal,” said Andrea Madlangbayan, SM Regional Operations Manager for North Luzon 4.

Junias Eusebio, Regional Operations Manager Andrea Madlangbayan, SM City Pampanga Mall Manager Aaron Montenegro and Assistant Mall Manager Charm Bacani, SM City Telabastagan Mall Manager Bernadette Antonio and SM City San Fernando Downtown Mall Manager Lana Erroba.

SM Malls in Pampanga, Telabastagan and San Fernando Downtown are all strategically located in one city, housing various local and international retail and dining establishments.
