4 Bulacan drug pushers nabbed


CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan –
Four drug pushers including a couple were arrested during a series of anti-drug operations by the City of San Jose del Monte police station in the villages of Graceville, Maharlika and Mozon here on Saturday.

In areport to Bulacan police director Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., city police chief Supt. Fitz Macariola identified the arrested suspects as couple Arnel Orabao, 31, and Angeline Orabao, 31, residents of Bgy. Graceville; Johna Ray Lopez, 18, single, resident of Bgy. Maharlika and Liezel dela Cruz, 49, married, resident of Bgy. Muzon.

Macariola said they were arrested during the non-stop anti-illegal drug operations.

He said the Orabaos were busted after selling P500 worth of shabu to a police undercover agent.

Ten more plastic sachets cointaing an estimated 5 grams of shabu worth around P8,000 were recovered from the suspects together with the marked money used in the sting operation, Macariola added.

Lopez, on the other hand, was arrested by another anti-narcotics police team after selling a plastic sachet of shabu to a police agent. Six more plastic sachets containing an estimated 2 grams or more with an estimated street value of P6,000 were recovered from him.

Dela Cruz was arrested during a buy bust operation in Bgy. Muzon where sixmore plastic sachets of shabu wieghing more or less 5 grams were recovered from her, Macariola said.

Police will file drug pushing charges for violations of the Comprehensive dangerous drugs act. —EMIL G. GAMOS
