Camp Olivas — Four persons were arrested on Tuesday for illegal selling of petroleum products in Candelaria, Zambales.
Col. Norberto Delmas, CIDG 3 Regional Office and the CIDG Candelaria, identified the arrested suspects as Jun Ignacio, Reiner Valdez, Jessie Boy Seludo, and Charlie Cablay.
Delmas said the raid was conducted after they were informed by several gas stations in the area on the rampant illegal selling and trading of petroleum products without permits posing a danger to the health and safety of residents.
Confiscated from the four suspects were a fuel tanker with 6,000 litres, 31 pcs. of plastic gallons containing more or less 25 litres each of premium gasoline with an estimated value of P40,000, 14 pcs. of empty plastic gallons, and a plateless Mitsubishi L300.
The suspects were brought to the CIDG Zambales and will be charged with violation of BP 33 as amended by PD 1865.
