MALOLOS, Bulacan — Four drug suspects were arrested in separate anti-illegal drugs operation in this province on Friday.
Col. Lawrence B. Cajipe, provincial director of Bulacan Police Provincial Office, identified the arrested suspects as Edmond Salcedo, a resident of Barangay Banga 2nd, Purok Paraan, Plaridel; Emmanuel Lagmay, of Barangay Sta. Rita, Guiguinto; Nathaniel Ellado, of Barangay Pritel, Guiguinto; and Lincolne Tadeo, of Barangay Bonga Menor, Bustos, all in this province.
Seized from their possession were 17 pieces of small to medium size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing more or less four grams and with estimated Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) value of PHP27,000, eight pieces medium size transparent plastic containing suspected dry marijuana leaves weighing 500 grams with an estimated DDB value of PHP60,000, PHP3,500 marked money, and PHP11,000 boodle money.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory for appropriate examination.
The arrested suspects will be charged with violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Article II, Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). (PNA)
