4PH housing project offers affordable homes in Angeles

ANGELES CITY, Philippines – The Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Project promises affordable homeownership for Angeleños, with each 27-square-meter unit priced at P1.23 million and an optional P400,000 parking slot.

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. led the groundbreaking ceremony for the project in Barangay Mining on February 27, 2025, alongside Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabiting, city officials, and representatives from the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD).

The national government will subsidize the cost of the housing units, making them more accessible to low-income Angeleños. Borrowers availing of units through a Pag-IBIG Housing Loan will enjoy even lower interest rates than the current market offers.

The project will consist of 10 six-story buildings, each with 245 residential units, totaling 2,450 units. The housing site will also include 200 car parking slots, 680 motorcycle parking slots, a clubhouse, a village market, and a transport terminal.

“Malaking bagay ito para sa ating mga kababayan para magkaroon ng sarili nilang mga bahay, na maayos, ligtas, at nasa sentro ng siyudad,” Lazatin said. The project aims to provide not just affordable homes but also a better quality of life for its beneficiaries.
