CAMP OLIVAS — Five suspected illegal drugs users were arrested by government agents following a raid at an illegal drugs den believed to be the main drop-off point of prohibited substance along Sitio Lahar in Mabalacat City on Wednesday.
Central Luzon Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Director Lyndon P Aspacio identified the suspects as Noel Ramos, 39; Allan Patangui, 24; Rony Atok, 20; Renato Atok, 65; Michael Atok, 40; and Julius Fernando, 34, all residents of Mabalacat City.
In his report to PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, Aspacio said residents in the community tipped-off presence of suspicious persons coming in and out of one of the residences that prompted Pampanga PDEA agents to conduct surviellance of the target.
Aspacio said PDEA raided the place after he confirmed the reports on alleged illegal drugs trade and use inside the house owned by one of the suspects.
Seized from the suspects include 15 grams of metamphethamine hydrochloride (shabu) with an estimated street value of Php 102,000.00, assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.
Aspacio described the recent score as one of the high impact operations while attributing the accomplishment to the cooperation of residents in the community.
