ANGELES CITY — Four drug suspects and a man with possession of illegal guns were arrested in separate operations in this city.
Angeles City police chief Col. Rommel Sta. Ana Batangan identified the suspects in the drug bust on Arayat Blvd., Purok 4B, Barangay Pampang as laborers Dennis Abasolo, 44; and Louie Castro, 26; garbage collector Jericho Guinto, 25; and driver Loreto Balbaera, 50.
Members of the Angeles police station 2 and PDEA led by Lt. Jennies Capili under the supervision of Maj. Aris Gonzales seized from them six plastic sachets containing shabu worth P34,000 and the P500 marked money.
The four will be charged with violation of Sections 11 and 21 of RA 9165.
Meanwhile, in Bgy. Sto. Rosario, Ammar Orogan, 27, of Sandra St., Barangay Sto. Rosario, was arrested for ignoring a checkpoint on Circumferential Road, Rizal Extension in Bgy. Cutcut.
Angeles City station 5 commander Maj. Alfred Andal said Orogan was flagged for driving a motorcycle without helmet but instead sped off.
Oplan Sita police officers led by Lt. Col. Karen Clark chased the suspect and when he was cornered, a .45 pistol and seven bullets were found at the motorbike’s compartment.
Orrogan was arrested when he failed to show the documents for the gun and will be charged with for violation of RA 10054 and RA 10591.
