About 58 food and non-food micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bataan participated in the Pre-Valentine Trade Fair of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
“Likha ng Bataeños Pre-Valentine Trade Fair” was held from February 9 to 14 at WalterMart Balanga.
“WalterMart Community Malls are DTI’s partner in serving the community through supporting our MSMEs and we are very happy to be given this opportunity to showcase our MSMEs as well as their products not just here in Balanga but the entire Bataan,” WalterMart Community Malls North Region Cluster Regional Director Abegail Pineda said.
For her part, DTI Provincial Director Nelin Cabahug said they are glad to help MSMEs through activities like this wherein success of each enterprise can be seen through the results of their sales, product produce, and employment.
Top sellers in the trade fair were Decy’s Food Products and Cley’s Food products.
Special awards were likewise given to G’s Enterprise for being Most Punctual, Khalimah Handicrafts and Souvenir Items for Most Amiable MSME, and Wanger’s Food Products for the Most Improved.
