More than 5,000 kids in their cutest and spookiest costumes joined the recent Halloween Costume Contest at SM City Pampanga.
Rain Cervantes, public relations manager of SMPP, said the 5,225 participants is “record-breaking” as it surpassed attendees of their previous Halloween contests.
Cervantes said the first 1,000 pre-registered kids received free loot bags from Snickers and M&M’s by Mars, Inc.
Meanwhile, the costume contest was divided into four categories, namely Hallowqueen, Hallowking, Hallowtwins (in pairs) and Beastmode.
The top three winners from each category received SM Gift Certificates.
Jollibee mascots and Winx characters made appearances during the contest.
The kids also gathered and went all over the mall for a “trick or treat” activity with participating stores.
