MASANTOL,- A total of 782 residents of Masantol received financial aid through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in partnership with the Provincial Government of Pampanga.
The distribution was led by Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Congresswoman Anna York Bondoc, and Pampanga Mayors’ League (PML) President and Apalit Mayor Jun Tetangco in ceremonies held at Brgy. Bebe Matua Covered Court here.
Each beneficiary received P3,000 financial assistance from the DSWD, while the Provincial Government also provided additional rice support.
Governor Delta Pineda also expressed his gratitude to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for allocating necessary funds that greatly benefited Kapampangans in need.
The AICS program is a social welfare service of the DSWD that provides assistance to individuals and families in crisis. It includes medical, burial, transportation, educational, and food assistance, as well as other financial aid for various urgent needs.
