ANGELES CITY – “Let us not stop sharing.”
Thus said Bong Alvaro, CEO of BB International and Resort Development Corporation as he welcomed guests at the Midori Clark Hotel and Casino on Tuesday morning for the 3rd Angel’s Dream Charity project where some 800 Aeta kids will get their “wishes” this yuletide season.
“The spirit of Christmas is always in giving,” said Alvaro who has vowed to assist the indigenous people by giving them access to education. He said two Aeta beneficiaries will soon finish their education.
Midori General Manager Vic Chan said: “By this Angel’s Dream Christmas Tree lighting event, we love to achieve our goals in making every children’s wish come true.”
Chan said some 400 Aeta kids received their wishes in the first Angel’s Dream event while some 600 Aeta kids received their wishes as well on its 2nd year.
Alvaro and Chan later lighted the huge Christmas Tree inside the Midori Hotel kicking off the month-long run of this year’s Angels’ Dream and the celebration of the hotel festivities.
Highlighting the event is the hanging of wish cards, wherein kids hung up their wishes into the Hotel’s Christmas tree. This tradition symbolizes the wishes and dreams of the little youngsters which will be fulfilled by the heaven-sents or the employees, subsidiaries, sponsors, and guests.
Midori representatives will also visit schools in Sapang Bato, Sitio Target and Monicayo, Haduan, Calapi, Macapagal and Marcos Village to have the wishes of kids.
The recipients will get their gifts on December 18, 2018. The Angels’ Dream 2018 is in partnership with BBI Foundation, Aqua Planet, OVBD, and Eagle Sky.
Angels’ Dream is a Corporate Social Responsibility Program of Midori Clark Hotel and Casino every Yuletide season.
