BALER, Aurora – Lt. Col. Aries A. Quinto, Commanding Officer of the 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion, reaffirmed his commitment to frontline troops as he personally visited patrol bases under the battalion’s operational control on September 2, 2025.
The visit, which highlighted his leadership and solidarity, emphasized the vital role of CAFGU Active Auxiliary (CAA) units in strengthening national defense and supporting community resilience.

During his engagement, Lt. Col. Quinto commended the vigilance, discipline, and sacrifices of the CAA personnel. He described them as true “force multipliers” of the Philippine Army, not only defending communities but also contributing significantly to operational success.
“Your courage and resilience are the backbone of our operational success. I am proud of the commitment each one of you demonstrates daily. The Armed Forces of the Philippines and the nation stand behind you,” he told the troops.
Aside from delivering words of encouragement, the 91st IB commander also reviewed ongoing operations, inspected living conditions, and personally listened to the concerns of the personnel. His hands-on approach, officers noted, provided a morale boost for those stationed in remote and often challenging environments.

The initiative forms part of a continuing series of field visits by the battalion, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, maintaining high morale, and ensuring that CAA personnel remain well-supported, motivated, and mission-ready.
