PELCO II marked a milestone in its infrastructure expansion with the successful blessing of its new 20MVA Sta. Maria Substation on April 30, 2025, in Barangay Sta. Maria, Mabalacat City.
The event, attended by the cooperative’s Board of Directors led by President Ryan M. Caladiao, General Manager Amador T. Guevarra, Chief Management Advisor Engr. Joe-mel S. Zaporteza, and other officials and employees, underscores PELCO II’s commitment to supporting the city’s accelerating growth.
With Mabalacat experiencing a steady rise in residential, commercial, and industrial activities, the substation is expected to address the increasing power demand while ensuring reliable service delivery to Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs).
The facility is set to be energized on May 9, 2025, and is projected to help minimize the occurrence of power interruptions in the area.
