PAMPANGA—A total of 3,217 Kapampangans received Emergency Cash Assistance (ECT) in a distribution activity led by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).
According to the PSWDO, the majority of the beneficiaries were those who were unable to receive aid during earlier pay-out schedules in their respective barangays. The assistance was part of a directive from DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian and NDRRMC Chairman Gibo Teodoro to support individuals affected by recent disasters.

In addition to the cash aid, beneficiaries were given the opportunity to purchase 10 kilograms of rice at a subsidized price of ₱200, under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s P20-per-kilo rice program.
Board Members Fritzie David Dizon, Atty. Claire Lim, Sajid Eusoof, Lucky Labung, and Dr. Kaye Naguit also participated in the distribution.
