Nepo Quad Jr., held its first ever ‘TusoQ’ Street Food party on Friday.
TusoQ, a play on the Kapampangan word “tusok,” gathered together street food vendors in one place to make it easier for customers to enjoy their product.
The event came from the idea of Dada Jimenez, marketing officer of Nepo Center.
“We’ve been promoting restaurants from The Quad and The Quad Jr., and I thought, why don’t we feature the street foods this time?” Jimenez said.
The vendors are all from the popular street food area in Angeles City called “Totobits.” They sell deep fried squid, fish and chicken balls, and quail eggs on a stick among others.
Meanwhile, Nepo Quad Jr., offered beers and other food options to the festival goers.
Aside from the food, Nepo Center provided live music from local bands “Four in a Box,” and “Enye.”
The event was organized by Nepo Center with sponsorships from San Miguel Brewery.
Jimenez is hoping to hold a second street food party next year.
