FIRST DISTRICT, Pampanga – Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. donated 28 sacks of rice to evacuation centers in Angeles and Mabalacat City, amidst the continuous heavy rainfall that caused several families to be evacuated from their residence.

Twenty sacks of rice will be distributed to Barangays Sapangbato, Margot, Amsic, Balibago, Pandan, Sto. Domingo, and San Nicolas in Angeles City, while eight sacks will be donated to Barangays Mabiga and Dau in Mabalacat City.
Red Pillars Foundatin, headed by Lazatin’s Chief Adviser and Department of Transportation (DOTr) Asec. IC Calaguas and Chief Political Affairs Officer Reina Manuel also donated 15 sacks of rice to the said barangays.

Pogi, Asec. IC at MNR — walang hinto,” Alejandrino added.
Margot Barangay Council headed by Barangay Captain Dominador Lising in a Facebook post thanked Lazatin for the rice donation.

Since Friday, August 28, 2026, Lazatin and his staff have been doing rounds in affected barangays in the First District of Pampanga to check on evacuation centers and deliver food and relief packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

On his visit to Barangays Sto. Domingo and Anunas on Friday, Lazatin was greeted with a ‘Happy Birthday’ song by the residents, as Lazatin was celebrating his 57th birthday on the same day.
