TARLAC CITY — A total of 1,178 senior citizens in the municipality of Concepcion received their Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) grant from Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Each beneficiary got Php 2,400 for the year or equivalent to Php 200 per month.
“The UCT program aims to support indigent families facing increase in the prices of goods in the market,” Mayor Andres Lacson said.
“Qualified beneficiaries of UCT are those who are frail, sick, with disability, without pension and no permanent source of income, compensation or financial support from relatives,” Lacson added.
