Malacañang declares October 15, 26 holidays in Angeles City

Through Malacañang Proclamation No. 859, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea by authority of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte declared October 15 (Monday) and October 26 (Friday) of this year as special non-working days in Angeles City, Pampanga.

October 15 marks the opening day of month-long celebration of Kuliat Festival which highlights three religious feasts, the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels, La Naval Festival and Fiestang Apo.

On October 26 is the Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan, a festival which symbolizes the resilience of the people during the Mt. Pinatubo eruption. TTKD was organized by City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan In October of 1992 and the first TTKD was celebrated along the stretch of Mac Arthur Highway in Balibago where visitors enjoy a night of music, food, and drinks.
