The ceremonial ribbon-cutting and lighting of the magnificent Christmas display signals the Merry SM Christmas at SM City Tarlac on November 10, 2018 at 5 p.m.
With the theme “Christmas Toy Universe”, this year’s centerpiece of superworld of lights and magic is not only an extravagant display, but a blissful experience. With a height of 40ft. and its interactive elements and mechanized features, it truly captures the heart not only the young generation, but also the kids at heart.
No other than the Father Christmas, Santa Claus, who is said to bring gifts to the homes of well-behaved children on Christmas Eve and the early morning hours of Christmas Day, joined the Christmas Launch. Along with him are his elves, who are said to make the toys in his workshop at the North Pole.
Dressed as elf toy makers of Santa Claus, students of College of the Holy Spirit Performing Arts executed their own version of the Winterfest Tinker Toy Factory to double the joy and happiness in the air. Kids watched happily as they sat on the alphabet cubes.
WCOPA Junior Grand Champion Performer of the World and Winner of “Mini Me” Segment of It’s Showtime, Nhikzy Calma also wowed all in attendance with his intricate yet well-executed dance moves.
Yuletide season is indeed finally here and everyone welcomes it to their homes. Filipinos are known for having the longest Christmas celebration in the entire world that truly showcases our love for festivities and inedible seal of religiosity making us one of a kind.
SM City Tarlac Christmas Toy Universe is open for viewing and photo sessions from November 10, 2018 until January 6, 2019.
