Angeles City Mayor and Abe Kapampangan Partylist first nominee Edgardo Pamintuan on Thursday has vowed to support the senatorial bid of former Philippine National Police Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.
“Sagot Kita! Itaga mo sa Bato!,” Pamintuan declared during the program held at New Legislative Building, Angeles City Hall.
Joining Pamintuan in welcoming the former PNP Chief were ABEKA Partylist second nominee Jericho Aguas and fifth nominee Patrick Cura as well the official candidates of the local political party, Partido Abe Kapampangan (PAK), Mayorable Bryan Nepomuceno, Vice Mayorable Edu Pamintuan, councilorables JC Aguas, Jay Pelayo IV, Dan Lacson, Thelma Indiongco, Amos Rivera, Raco del Rosario, Crisanto Cortez, Alfie Bonifacio and PG Ponce.
Dela Rosa expressed his thanks to Pamintuan for his all-out support and promised to support the development of Angeles City if elected to the Senate.
Bato told the crowd gathered inside the session hall of the Angeles City Sangguniang Panglunsod: “Sagot ko kayo! Itaga nyo sa Bato!”
In the latest surveys conducted by both the Social Weather Stations and Pulse Asia, Bato is in the Top 12 among senatorial bets.
