• 136K worth of shabu, drug paraphernalia seized
Adrug den was dismantled during the implementation of a search warrant that also resulted in the arrest of the drug den owner and eight drug den visitors in Bacolod City on April 5, 2019.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Aaron Aquino said seized during the operation conducted by joint elements of PDEA Regional Office VI (PDEA RO VI) under the supervision of the Officer-In-Charge, IAV Alex M. Tablate, and local police were 23 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 20 grams with an estimated value of Php136,000.00 and several drug paraphernalia.
Aquino identified the suspects who were arrested in Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental as Mary Grace Tupaz, alias Inday Gomia/Ate, drug den maintainer; and the drug den visitors as Joan Yupo y Monreal, Jerry Abao y Dinaque, Bryan Sting Arcos y Villanueva, Stephen Bachoco y Jison, Bernardino Francia y Canarillo, Jerry Gedelanga y Caňa, Newsan Nipunan y Sonico, and Raymart Sombilla y Sayson.
