Limay mayor resolves water problem in Lamao

LIMAY, Bataan — Acting Mayor Richie Jason David told newsmen here on Tuesday that in less than three months since Mayor Nelson C. David took over, they have already solved the water crisis in their biggest village, Barangay Lamao.

This was confirmed by Vice Mayor David during a surprise media interview after he personally attended to his constituents’ requests for various assistance from the local government one by one as part of his “everyday duty.”

The water crisis in the area started less than 5 years ago due to some major economic development projects in the area. Other neighboring areas in the said village will also benefit in the said pipe laying and other ongoing improvement projects.

Salamat po talaga,” a Lamao resident told this reporter.
Hundreds of positive comments flood social media site, Facebook, as the father and son tandem took over the once “off-limits” areas of the municipal hall here especially the Mayor’s office.

Mayor Nelson David in an earlier interview with the local press of Bataan emphasized that “whatever happens tuloy ang serbisyo namin sa tao.”

NCD, as he is fondly called by friends and supporters, assured his constituents that he will abide by the rule of law and at the same time fulfill his promises during the campaign period.

One of the father and son tandem’s battle cry during the election period was the free medicines being given to some of their poor and sickly citizens living in mostly near the industrial sites of the municipality.

The young David also thanked Bataan Governor Abet Garcia, Bataan Representatives Joet Garcia and Geraldine Roman for all their support to the LGU of Limay.
