The Regional Cacao Industry Council of Central Luzon aims to provide extensive linkages between and among the cacao value chain operators, enablers, and markets to further the growth of the industry.
With this, the council, chaired by Kapampangan Development Foundation, Inc. (KDFI) announced that the 4th Cacao Central Luzon LINK/Congress will be held on December 3, 2019, at the Kingsborough International Convention Center.
This year’s theme will be “CACAO MARKETS AND PROCESSING LINKS (Linking Industry through Knowledge Sharing).
According to the Council, as the word LINKS connotes, they would like to encourage more existing and prospective cacao growers to invest in cacao farming, as market demands for quality fermented and dried cacao beans continue to grow locally and internationally.
Moreover, Cacao Link also wants to establish further linkages with key business councils and chambers in the region to effect convergence support in the area market development where individual members of every business chamber can look into project partnership tie-ups and investment opportunities.
Meanwhile, the event is an annual gathering of the region’s cacao stakeholders and industry players within the entire cacao industry value chain to present regional directions and updates on the development of cacao as an industry.
