CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 launched today the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) desks that will be present in all police stations in Central Luzon.
“This is our focused program for OFWs and their families. It will take care of their welfare especially in protecting them from criminality, fraud, terrorism and illegal drug abuse perpetrated by transnational criminal syndicates,” Acting Police Regional Director PBGen Rhodel Sermonia said.
“This is our tribute to the sacrifices of our OFWs. These desks will provide outright assistance to OFW concerns especially with regards to their families in the country,” Sermonia added.
Government officials attending the launch include Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac, Interior and Local Government Undersecretary Martin Dino and Philippine Overseas Employment Administration Undersecretary Bernardo Olalia.
