PORAC, Pampanga – Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda recently led the distribution of 2,258 gift packs to individuals and families in Barangay Pio of this municipality.
According to Governor Delta, this is their simple way of thanking the people for the love and support they have been giving the current administration.
He also mentioned that the door of the provincial government is always open for any of the citizens’ concerns.
“Nung atin pung problema, lalu na kareng masakit, ekayu pu mag-adwang isip lumapit king Kapitolyu. Open kami pung pane para kekayu,” Governor Delta said.
Joining the governor during the distribution were Board Members Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab, Olga Frances “Fritzie” David-Dizon, Anthony Joseph Torres, and Porac Mayor Jaime Capil.
“Nepung karagul a saup ini lalu na magpasku. Maragul ya pung bage, lalu na kareng kekatamung Cabalen a pacacalulu, ining gift-giving ayni. Anya pasalamat cu pu kang governor, Nanay, at kareng kekatang board members,” Mayor Capil said.
The said gift-giving was jointly facilitated by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) and the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), with the help of the General Services Office (GSO) and Provincial Manpower Training Center (PMTC).
Prior to this, Governor Delta also distributed food items to indigenous people in Floridablanca, Mabalacat City, and Katutubo Village, Porac earlier the same day.
