No confirmed COVID-19 case in The Medical City Clark

The Medical City Clark (TMCC) inside Clark Global City would like to inform the community that there is no confirmed positive case of coronavirus disease in the said hospital.

In its official statement on March 17, TMCC has intensified infection control, decontamination measures and hospital safety protocols. The medical facility continuously accepts outpatient consults, diagnostics and admissions.

It has also announced the ‘One Patient, One Watcher’ policy to all admitted and intensive care unit patients.

“We will continue to work closely with DOH and WHO as well as with the continued support of the entire TMC network, we are ready to collaborate with the surrounding communities and other hospitals when called for,” the advisory states.

Meanwhile, shuttle service to and from SM City Clark will be cancelled but patients may use the free shuttle service at SM City Clark Parking K going to Clark Global City, provided social distancing must be observed.

Earlier, TMCC has posted an update thru its social media account that there are 4 persons under investigation, 36 persons under monitoring and 12 PUIs that were screened at TMC Clark emergency room. 

“As an added preventive measure, The Medical City Clark has implemented a single entry and exit scheme for all its visitors. Patients with fever and respiratory symptoms (cough and colds) are advised to visit the designated Quick Assessment Lane at the ER Complex,” the management said.
